Jessyca has been an international educator and learning design specialist for over 15years, helping learners obtain goals in a variety of areas including movement, improv, dance, she served as an elementary and special education teacher and administrator in internationals schools for over 12 years.
In 2011 Jessyca, a former dancer, "started yoga". Being a teacher at heart, she knew her calling was to attend yoga teacher training. Jessyca completed her 200RYT with Anna Laurita of the Krishnamacharya lineage and immediately she started teaching yoga classes around the globe, from South America to Asia, leading yogis in their practice and deepening their relationship with yoga.  Jessyca is a reiki master and wellness advocate; consulting individuals in Ayurveda, homeopathic and sustainable holistic living remedies. She delights in meeting all learners, all people where they are and help them embody a path of light to achieve where they want to be!  Since becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher she has taught well over 2000 hours across 5continents. She has continued her yoga training and studies throughout the world, learning from Debbie Krejci, Les Levinthal, Rusty Davis and Fiona Raymond. She is currently living in Sri Lanka and is extremely excited to share this beautiful island, its magical vibes and beautiful people with all of you!

RYS Teaching Assistant                                                                                                                                                                                                 SEAN ROBINSON

Picture
Through the fusion of ashtanga and vinyasa, Sean’s self-practice and teaching involves fluidity (from vinyasa), strength and a focus on alignment (from Ashtanga). He recognises that moving the body in new and different ways has profound benefits both physically and neurologically yet incorporating repetition promotes discipline and develops strength.  Being quite ‘yang’ by nature, Sean is fascinated by the ways movement (both through asana and breathing exercises) can help you into a meditative state, which, ultimately is the main purpose of yoga.  Despite focusing on creative flows he can ensure accurate breath and alignment cues are given to ensure body and breath (and subsequently body with mind) are connected.
